5 Port Richmond homes vandalized by man caught on Ring camera – NBC10 Philadelphia

Police are investigating after a vandal attacked homes and vehicles throughout the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia early Sunday.

According to police, officers responded after receiving complaints of vandalism at a property in the 2600 block of East Monmouth Street.

In response to this incident, police said officers also found several homes and vehicles sprayed with red paint.

A total of five homes were affected in the following blocks, including properties in the 2900 block of Edgemont Street, the 2600 block of Birch Street, the 2600 block of E Ann Street, and two addresses in the 2900 block of Edgemont Street.

An NBC10 viewer sent in a Ring doorbell video showing a man spray painting a house. Police confirmed they are using the video as part of their investigation and that the man in the video is believed to be behind the vandalism.

An NBC10 viewer also shared photos on social media of the man he believes is responsible for the vandalism.

In addition, police officials reported that at least three vehicles had been defaced with spray paint.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing, police said.
