UPDATE: Suspect arrested in double bank robbery in Delaware | Latest News

DOVER, DE– Delaware State Police and Dover Police recently arrested a suspect accused of robbing two banks in July.

Officers arrested 30-year-old Enrico Mancuso on August 22 after identifying him on August 20.

According to Dover police, Macuso entered the PNC Bank in Loockerman Plaza in Dover just before 11:15 a.m. on July 9 and wrote a note on a deposit slip demanding money. Police say he then gave the note to a teller and the teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. He then allegedly fled with the money.

DSP says he was also involved in a robbery at the WSFS Bank on Kirkwood Highway in Wilmington on July 16. Mancuso allegedly gave the bank teller a note demanding money around 3 p.m. The victim complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, state police said.

Following his arrest on August 22, Mancuso was charged with the following counts and released on bail:

  • Second degree robbery (two counts)
  • Wearing a disguise while committing a crime

According to police, Mancuso was subsequently booked into the Sussex Community Corrections Center on $15,000 bail for violating his probation.

DSP Troop 2's Robbery Unit and Dover Police continue to investigate these robberies. Anyone who witnessed either robbery is asked to contact police.
