Police investigate shooting of man in Dorchester

A man was shot and killed in Dorchester on Saturday night, Boston police said.

At around 10 p.m., officers arrived at 519 Washington Street, where a man suffered gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died, Boston police said.

The shooting came just a day after another man was stabbed to death in Dorchester on Friday night. A 38-year-old man from the neighborhood was arrested Saturday and charged with murder.

Officials were unable to determine the identity of the man killed in Saturday's shooting.
