Update on Suga DUI: Police close trial against BTS member, case forwarded to prosecutor – “No license plate was required for the scooter”

The police have closed the case of BTS member Suga.

Police update on Suga’s drunk driving case

Suga’s drunk driving case

On August 6, Suga was charged with driving an electric scooter on the sidewalk while under the influence of alcohol at around 11:10 p.m. In the video recording released by DongA IlboHe can be seen falling as he attempts to turn left in front of the main gate of the Nine One Hannam apartment complex before being noticed by the police.

Suga, who is currently serving in the military, also faces an internal investigation by the Korean military administration because of his work as a social worker.

Suga published a second apology letter on Weverse. In the handwritten letter, the BTS star expressed regret over the incident.
