Gasoline prices are falling along the I-80 corridor between Peru and North Utica

Drivers traveling on I-80 between Peru and North Utica are seeing a significant drop in gas prices. Some stations are offering the lowest prices in the area. Quick Time and Love's in North Utica lead the way, with regular gasoline costing just $2.94 per gallon. Other stations, including Flying J, Sapp Bros, Shell, BP and Casey's, follow closely behind, reporting prices of $2.99 per gallon.

Outside the I-80 corridor, however, prices remain higher, averaging $3.29 per gallon. Ottawa is the most expensive state at $3.59 per gallon.

The falling prices along this major highway are a welcome relief for drivers, especially as other areas continue to struggle with higher costs. The trend raises the question of whether these lower prices will extend beyond the I-80 corridor in the coming weeks.
