1 person hospitalized after accident between motorcycle and semi-trailer on NB I-71

SILVERTON, Ohio (WXIX) – Delays are expected on northbound Interstate 71 due to a crash involving a motorcycle and a semi-trailer, according to Hamilton County dispatchers.

The incident was reported near the Stewart Road exit in Silverton. Another motorist called 911 around 3:35 a.m. Monday.

The highway is open to traffic, but the ramp from the highway to Stewart Road is closed until further notice.

According to incident reports, one person was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

According to dispatchers, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and the Deer Park-Silverton Joint Fire District responded.

The sheriff's office remains on scene and is investigating.
