According to our news partner WBNS in Columbus, Columbus officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1100 block of Parma Avenue around 1:50 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found two people shot. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Paramedics took the man to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where he later died, Columbus television station ABC 6 reported.

Sergeant Joseph Austin confirmed to WBNS that it was probably a murder-suicide. They don't know who shot whom.

“We have to rely on some forensic evidence and the results of the coroner's office to find out who the attacker was,” he said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Columbus Police at (614) 645-0114.
