Woman suspected of killing ex-boyfriend in Bay Area home

SAN LEANDRO, CALIFORNIA – A woman found shot to death in an unincorporated area of ​​San Leandro has been arrested in connection with the killing of a man found at the same location, the Alameda County Sheriff's Office said Friday.

Analleli Garcia Mejia, 36, was arrested Thursday in the death of her ex-boyfriend, 43-year-old David Ramirez, the sheriff's office said.

On Tuesday, at approximately 10:17 p.m., officers arrived at a residence in the 16000 block of Carolyn Street and found a woman in her 30s who had been shot in the leg and a man in his 40s who had been shot in the upper torso.

During the investigation, detectives gathered information and video evidence that showed Garcia Mejia's actions may have been intentional, the sheriff's office said.
