Woman arrested for drug possession at Manitowoc County Fair

A 20-year-old woman was arrested at the Manitowoc County Fair after marijuana was found on her.

A citizen approached an officer at 9:00 p.m. Saturday night to report an underage female who was intoxicated.

The officer found the person exhibiting several signs of impairment.

She initially resisted the officers' orders, but eventually agreed to leave the fairgrounds so the investigation could be carried out.

The woman told police she needed to go to the bathroom and began searching her purse.

The officer stopped them and found a vaporizer device that contained THC.

It was revealed that the woman had outstanding charges in Manitowoc and Brown counties for drug possession and pouring bodily fluids on a public safety officer.

She was arrested for possession of THC, one count each of bail jumping (a felony and a felony), and charged with possession or use as a minor, which was her first offense.
