Two Dallas County residents were arrested after two separate charges came to light.

According to a press release, Adel police responded to an alleged report of animal neglect at 118 North 13th Street in Adel around 8:15 p.m. on Sunday. Officers executed a search warrant on the home where they found two juveniles and several dogs. The report states that the juveniles and dogs were not in appropriate condition, as some of the animals had matted fur, long claws and were covered in feces.

The release states that the teens' parents were not home at the time of the search, but later arrived while officers were still on scene. Officers took 33-year-old Corey Allan Robinson of Adel and 46-year-old Angie Lynn Collins of Adel into custody on multiple counts of child endangerment and animal neglect. Robinson and Collins were taken to the Dallas County Jail on $4,000 bail. Adel police say the teens are safe with family members and the animals were taken to Aheinz57 Animal Rescue.
