WAGM hosts job fair at Caribou Wellness Center

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) –

Staffing shortages continue to be a reality for many businesses in Aroostook County and across the country. To better connect job seekers and employers, WAGM is hosting our first-ever job fair on September 19th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center.

WAGM Executive Director Kelly Landeen hopes the timing of the event will benefit the community. “We know that many employers are looking for employees, and with no job fair in the fall and given the current situation, we felt it was imperative to hold one now. We would like to invite anyone looking for a new job or their first job to bring their resume, come by and check out all the booths. I think this would be a great opportunity to see who is looking in the county.” Employers interested in attending the WAGM job fair on September 19 can contact Bernie Legasse.
