2 injured, 1 in intensive care after shooting during domestic dispute in Cobb County – WSB-TV Channel 2

MABLETON, Georgia – Cobb County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday afternoon in Mableton.

Shortly after 2 p.m., officers were called to Denny Lane.

When officers arrived, they found two people with gunshot wounds.

The police said Channel 2 Action News that the shooting began as a domestic dispute between an uncle and his nephew.

Both were taken to Cobb Hospital for treatment.

The uncle was shot in the leg and is expected to survive.

The nephew is in the intensive care unit.

Police said the crime scene was secured and there was no ongoing danger to the public.

Investigators are working to clarify the circumstances of the shooting.
