Des Moines police release bodycam footage of a water rescue

Welcome back today. And Des Moines, an update on the story we brought you earlier this week: Police have released new video of a water rescue after a boat capsized. Last Monday night, a guy was swimming toward my rope. Now he's going to hold on to it. He's in the middle. I think the boy, where are they? Where's the boat? You can see the quick work of rescue crews near the I-235 bridge in this video. Seven people were in the boat at the time and only one made it to shore. The rest initially held on to the rope the officer threw them. Eventually, rescue boats arrived to pick them up and thanks to the work of the officers and fire department rescue team, no one was injured in this scary incident.
