Man arrested after fatal attack on 60-year-old in North Fairmount

A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal attack on a 60-year-old man in North Fairmount. The incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. Monday in the 2500 block of Linden Street. Police responded to a report of an injured person. One person was found dead at the scene. He was identified as 60-year-old Troy Rudd. The Cincinnati Police Department Homicide Unit, with assistance from Third Precinct officers, has arrested and charged 40-year-old Joseph Rudd in connection with Troy Rudd's death. Joseph Rudd has been charged with murder in connection with Troy's death. The Cincinnati Police Department Homicide Unit's investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this homicide is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 513-352-3542. Joseph Rudd was arrested at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
