Who is Devin Strader on “The Bachelorette”? Instagram, job and what you should know

“We have a lot in common,” she said during the season premiere. “It just feels like a really great connection. We laugh, we have fun, he can be serious. He's really showing me what it's going to be like to be in a relationship with him.”

Although Devin's personality clashes with some of the other contestants, his relationship with Jenn grew stronger over time. Before Hometowns, they expressed that they were falling in love with each other.

“I feel like Devin and I have a very special connection that not many people can understand,” Jenn says in the fourth week.

“I think he is someone who could very well be my future fiancé,” she says.

Devin is the owner of a Houston-based trucking company

After studying at Louisiana State University from 2014 to 2019, Devin worked as Vice President of Acquisitions at Shark Logistics.

Since March 2023, he has been the owner of F1 Freight Consultants, a Texas-based consulting firm.

Devin's mother is his hero

Family is very important to Devin. In the season premiere, Devin, who was raised by a single mother, said his family-oriented attitude stems from a difficult childhood.

In a one-on-one conversation with Jenn, Devin attributed his talkative personality to the fact that he is the oldest in the family.

“I had to be kind of vocal,” he said. “My mom was a single parent, so I was there for my little brother a lot, and it wasn't always easy for us growing up, so I kind of took that resentment on and it turned into a big personality for me.”

He is the proud owner of a dog named Charlie

Devin got the puppy in July 2018. According to Devin's biography on the ABC website, the two are “the total package” and spending time with Charlie, now seven, is one of his favorite pastimes.

During the season premiere, Devin said that his perfect life includes a happy family consisting of a wife, kids, and maybe a few dogs.

He is an enthusiastic runner

Fitness plays a big role in Devin's life and his Instagram profile includes a story highlight dedicated to running, one of his favorite hobbies outside of work.

It's such a big part of life that Devin introduced Jenn to his run club friends during hometown week on The Bachelorette. He also explained that one of his friends started the Good Guys Run Club and helped him get out of a “slump.”

In addition to being a member of the running club, Devin also ran a 200-mile relay race with his friends.
