British woman defies age by skydiving at 102. Incredible video captures the hearts of the internet | Trends

According to reports, 102-year-old Manette Baillie became Britain's oldest skydiver with her jump from a height of 2,130 metres. Her fearless feat will leave you in awe.

“A 102-year-old woman celebrated her birthday by jumping out of a small plane. Fearless centenarian Manette Baillie became Britain's oldest skydiver after clearing 7,000ft,” Dailymail wrote when they posted a video of the woman.

The video shows her jumping out of the plane together with her instructor. After some time, they land safely and finish the adventure sport to the cheers and applause of the spectators.

A man asks her, “How was that?” Smiling slightly, she says, “It was wonderful.” The man then says, “Congratulations, you just jumped out of a plane.”

What did social media users say about this 102-year-old?

“It was wonderful. She is fabulous,” wrote one Instagram user. Another asked: “What makes someone want to jump from that height?” A third posted: “At 102 I have nothing to lose so why not! Haha.” A fourth added: “She is a legend.”

Many also expressed their awe for the fearless woman and some wished they could accomplish such a feat when they are old.

The jump was organised by Ukparachuting and Goldster. Ukparachuting is a skydiving centre with drop zones in Beccles, Suffolk, and Sibson Peterborough. Goldster, who sponsored the jump, develops personalised health and fitness programmes for people.
