Up-and-coming Atlanta comedian who rose to fame with sketches is now working on films and other projects – 95.5 WSB

ATLANTA – The last 24 years have been a journey for up-and-coming Atlanta comedian Qadir Sadiq, best known as the “Peachtree Prophet.”

The comedian, known as QueH3ff on Instagram, has made dozens of sketches and videos on social media and YouTube that have garnered millions of views, likes, saves and shares. In these videos, Instagram reels and sketches, Sadiq talks about Atlanta, life in Georgia and how he turns negatives into positives. He knows how to provide comic relief in real-life situations.

After graduating from high school in 2000, Sadiq moved from Tuskegee, Alabama, to Atlanta and never left the city again.

“Atlanta is my home and I love the reception I get when I'm on the road,” he said. “I've always been a comedic person. I've been doing comedy since 2015, but I didn't take it seriously until 2022. I did plays in high school, but I didn't take it seriously until now. I did a show on Starz and I did a court show.”

He has made hundreds of skits and videos showcasing his talent, crisp Southern accent, and unique perspective on life situations. He made a skit on “How to Survive in Atlanta” that has been viewed millions of times on social media.

Sadiq says that although he started making comedy videos in 2015, he didn't take it seriously until 2022. That's when his popularity was growing and he knew his comedic talent could lead him to a better path.

“It worked out and I'm so grateful,” said Sadiq. Sadiq says comedy is not only one of his greatest passions, but it also motivates him every day.

“It helps me to do comedy because it gives me an outlet. It helps me to constantly produce content. It's kind of my peace of mind,” Sadiq said.

He named acting legend Dave Chappelle as his favorite comedian and one of his biggest influences. He said, “I love Dave's way of telling stories. My ultimate goal is to have a sketch show.”

What has also helped Sadiq on his journey is being close to and collaborating with great, authentic and talented content creators and comedians.

Sadiq mentioned comedians and content creators like Keon The Young Big Homie, Amanda Lee, Janae Summers and Lola Kash as part of his Atlanta family.

“Everyone I've worked with is an extended part of my family,” he said. “They're like my adopted family. The people I've worked with have built a real bond outside of the content area as well. Janae Summers is on Kountry Wayne's tour right now.”

Sadiq said after he made a video with various comedians, it went viral.

“Everyone from Lola Kash, Keon The Young Big Homie, Amanda Lee, everyone I met on the journey were just cool people,” he said. “I adopted them and they adopted me and we kept working and creating content. We just all came together and supported each other.”

He met 1 Big Homie and Lola Kash over a year ago when he was scheduled to participate in a podcast highlighting content creators from the metro Atlanta area. He says he met Lola Kash through a group message with other content creators. He met Keon The Young Big Homie at hip-hop icon TI's restaurant Trap City Café and an instant bond was formed.

“When I switched to stand-up, I met him by chance at TI's Trap City Café and we hit it off,” he said. “From then on, we stayed in touch every day. All of our first videos together worked really well. We brought Lola along because the chemistry between all of us is so good.”

“Right now we are at eight episodes. Once we get to ten, we will start releasing,” he added.

Fans or other content creators and actors who want to work with Sadiq should contact his manager, he says.

If you click on the link in his bio, you can contact him through his manager for bookings. He says his DMs are full of messages.

“Once I meet you and I feel like your energy is right, then let's work,” he said. “I don't care how many followers you have or how big your page is. If you have good energy and I can see integrity, then I'll rock with you and we'll work.”

The up-and-coming Atlanta comedian says he is grateful that his fans and supporters love him and his comedic style and is looking forward to the next step in his career.

“I'm working on two more movies this year and I'm going to be on YouTube more,” he said. “I'm doing two shows. People are going to see a lot of me from now on. I'm going to do shows in Atlanta. I'm going to keep working. The sky's the limit.”
