Which TV shows will be renewed in 2024-2025 and which will be canceled?

When networks make decisions about their programs, We weekly will continue to track what TV shows have been renewed and which have been canceled.

Slow horses was the first series to be renewed in 2024. In early January, Apple TV+ picked up the series for a fifth season, which will air on Mick HerronSpy novel London Rules.

The series, which premiered in 2022, is about a dysfunctional team of British secret agents who are entrusted with office work at Slough House. The stars of Slow Horses Gary Oldman, Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden And Christopher Chung.

Minx, meanwhile, didn't have the same luck as it was canceled for a second time. In May 2022, Max renewed Minx for a second season, but reversed the decision by the end of the year.

Starz picked up the series – season 2 will start in July 2023 – but decided not to order a third season. Before the cancellation was confirmed in January, Jake Johnson indicated that he had not expected good news.

“After I cut my hair short, [expect a renewal]”, said Johnson Deadline in December 2023 and called the fate of the series “unfortunate” because “this show had a lot to offer.”

“I think the move to Starz – I think HBO is kind of doing its HBO thing or HBO Max, whatever it’s called now – I think that was brutal for [the show]”, he added. “Then the strike came, I think, right when we were trying to promote it. … I guess you can only beat on something so many times and still keep going.”
