“Join Duane Reeves, Assistant Vice President for Auxiliary Enterprise, and the University Museums staff to kick off the 50th anniversary with a live party to watch the 50-year video documentary,” the Brunnier Museum website states.

The film includes interviews and memories from donors, former staff, interns and the people who helped make the University Museums the center of art on campus. The museum also offers virtual tours on YouTube and Facebook.

“We are thrilled to present the final version of this amazing video, nearly four years in the making, celebrating 50 years of University Museums at Iowa State University,” said Adrienne Gennett, Museum Curator III. “The video will remind everyone of the impact University Museums has had in improving the lives and education of Iowa State University students and how much more the museums hope to accomplish in the future.”

The video will include the thoughts and memories of the many people who supported the installation of the art on campus, Gennett said.

Guests who wish to attend in person may park for free in Lot F for the duration of the event. Lot F is accessible from Beach Avenue or Center Drive and is located between the CY Stephens Auditorium and the Fisher Theater.
