oasis will reunite for major shows in 2025, it has been confirmed.

Speculation about a possible reunion reached its peak over the weekend, with cryptic tweets from frontman Liam Gallagher – “I never liked the word ‘former’” – and sent the fans into raptures.

Oasis has been trending on every single social media platform for 24 hours straight. while Spotify reports a 160% increase in catalog streams.

More than 15 years after they broke up backstage at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, Oasis are back – and in 2025 they will perform some of their biggest live shows ever.

In an announcement set for August 27 at 8:00 a.m., the band wrote “this is it… this is happening” before revealing an epic series of tour dates.

“The guns are silent.
The stars are aligned.
The long wait is over.
Come and see.
It won’t be televised.”

Oasis will play Cardiff's Principality Stadium on July 4 and 5 next summer, before a four-night run (July 11, 12, 19 and 20) at Manchester's Heaton Park.

Oasis will then head to Wembley Stadium for four live shows before appearing at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on August 8 and 9.

Dublin's Croke Park follows, with Oasis entering the Irish stadium for performances on August 16 and 17.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday 31 August – Ireland tickets from 8am, UK tickets from 9am.

Oasis will release the 30th anniversary edition of their debut album “Definitely Maybe” on August 30th.
