Her mother tried to sabotage her dream job, so she called her jealous and bitter – Chip Chick

Do you know someone whose parents never seem to want their child to succeed? A teenager has had enough of her possessive mother, who tried to sabotage her new job and almost got her fired.

She is 19 and lives with her 42-year-old mother, who has underestimated her and treated her pettily since she was a child.

Her mother cannot bear it when she proves that she has a life outside of their shared home, has destroyed some of her friendships and hardly allows her to have any contact with boys anymore.

Her father is a truck driver and isn't around often. And when he is around, he tries to stand up to her mother and tell her to stop with all the negativity, but she hasn't.

“I hate living with her and try not to think about it because my goal is to find a job, save up and move out as soon as possible,” she said.

“I recently applied for my dream job at a popular retail store in my area and they contacted me and told me that I [it]. I was so excited.”

Although she didn't want to, she told her mother about the offer a few nights ago because she had to tell her where she would be spending the week. Unfortunately, she realized that was a mistake.

Her mother panicked and asked who would be there to help her with the housework, ignoring the fact that she had a wonderful opportunity.

“I told her I couldn't stand her constantly putting me down and asked her why she was never proud of my achievements,” she recalls.
