The governor will be at Riverpark Center to make what his office calls a “major job creation announcement.”

According to a press release, this is an announcement from Swedish Match USA.

Governor Beshear will be accompanied by two representatives from Philip Morris International, as well as Congressman Brett Guthrie, Representative Suzanne Miles, Daviess County Judge and Executive Officer Charlie Castlen, and Owensboro Mayor Tom Watson.

The Governor will then travel to RiverValley Behavioral Health Children's Hospital.

Officials said he will be there to celebrate the opening of a new inpatient program for children with complex behavioral disorders in Kentucky.

This was made possible through a partnership between RiverValley Behavioral Health and the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services.

Officials say the new program will help them make a real difference in the lives of children in the state of Kentucky.

The ribbon will be cut at 11am.
