Man allegedly sexually harassed woman in rehabilitation clinic

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A man is accused of sexually touching a woman at a rehabilitation clinic.

Neal Sowell is accused of sexual assault. He was released on his own recognizance.

Memphis police responded to a sexual assault call at Delta Specialty Hospital around 3 a.m. on August 19.

A woman told police that she was sleeping in bed when she felt someone reaching under her nightgown.

The woman screamed and the man left the room.

After evaluating the surveillance cameras, the employees were able to identify the suspect.

After reviewing surveillance cameras, officers were able to identify the suspect. Police took Sowell to the police station for questioning.

According to the affidavit, Sowell waived his rights and told police that he had been accused of sexual assault more than five times in the past at various facilities.
