Kentucky man killed in domestic violence with his wife

A man was shot and killed in a domestic violence incident involving his wife in southern Kentucky on Saturday, according to Kentucky State Police. At approximately 11:33 a.m., KSP received a call from Clinton County dispatch requesting investigative assistance on a shooting incident. Police and detectives went to a home on Wolf River Dock Road in Clinton County and began investigating. They found 51-year-old Wesley Russell of Albany and his wife, 48-year-old Mary Russell of Albany, involved in a domestic violence incident. Police said Wesley was found shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clinton County Coroner. Mary Russell was taken to Clinton County Hospital for treatment of her injuries. KSP is continuing its investigation. They have not yet said if Mary fired the shots that killed Wesley, and no arrests or charges have been announced so far.

Police and detectives went to a home on Wolf River Dock Road in Clinton County and began their investigation.

They determined that an incident of domestic violence had occurred between 51-year-old Wesley Russell of Albany and his wife, 48-year-old Mary Russell of Albany.

According to police, Wesley was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clinton County Coroner's Office.

Mary Russell was taken to Clinton County Hospital for treatment of her injuries.

KSP continues its investigation.

It has not been announced whether Mary fired the shots that killed Wesley, nor have any arrests or charges been announced.
