THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS SAYS ANTWAN WILSON ESCAPED THIS MORNING IN THE BESSEMER AREA. HE WAS SERVING A SENTENCE FOR A ROBBERY IN JEFFERSON COUNTY.

The Alabama Department of Corrections is trying to locate an inmate who escaped from a Bessemer prison Tuesday morning. According to the ADOC, 34-year-old Antwone Wilson escaped from the William E. Donaldson Correctional Facility just before 8 a.m. He is described as 5 feet tall, 135 pounds, and wearing a tan jumpsuit. He has black hair and brown eyes. Wilson has numerous tattoos, including 100/Twone, TroubleMan, Clown/Knowledge, Grand Theft Auto, Chevy Man and Real Reconize Real. He was serving a prison sentence for robbery and theft in Jefferson County. Officials ask anyone with information on Wilson's whereabouts to notify local law enforcement or call 1-800-831-8825. Wilson has numerous tattoos, including 100/Twone, TroubleMan, Clown/Knowledge, Grand Theft Auto, Chevy Man, and Real Reconize Real.

He was serving a prison sentence in Jefferson County for robbery and theft.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on Wilson's whereabouts to notify local law enforcement or call 1-800-831-8825.
