For Urban Milwaukee members we have a very, very limited Number of free season tickets available for Next Act Theatre's upcoming 2024-2025 season.

The season pass is valued at $152 and includes tickets to all four Next Act Theater shows this season.

The artistic performance of Chad Deity from Kristoffer Diaz directed by Michael Cotey. From the Next Act Theatre website:

In this corner, Chad Deity: the greatest champion professional wrestling has ever seen. But behind every winner lies the story of a truly outstanding loser. Enter Macedonio “The Mace” Guerra: a wrestler who gets paid to lose night after night. He'd do almost anything for the chance to tell his own story in the ring. Kristoffer Diaz's piece is a high-octane power bomb of thrilling spectacle, larger-than-life characters and pop culture commentary that you won't find on pay-per-view.

This show runs from September 11th to October 6th.

Fast, Maine from John Cariani directed by Karen Estrada. From the Next Act Theatre website:

Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place so far north it's almost in Canada. It's not really a town because its residents never got around to organizing themselves. So it almost doesn't exist. On a cold, clear winter night, as the Northern Lights float in the star-studded sky, the residents of Almost, Maine fall in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees may turn bruised and hearts may break, but as magic lingers in the air, the pieces finally fall into place – almost.

This show runs from November 20th to December 15th.

The children from Lucy Kirkwood directed by Marie Kohler. From the Next Act Theatre website:

Two retired nuclear scientists live in a remote cabin by the sea as the world falls apart around them. Together they will forever survive on yogurt and yoga, until an old friend turns up with a frightening request. Lucy Kirkwood's winning play is a beautifully written puzzle about personal responsibility, guilt and what we leave to our children.

This show runs from February 12th to March 9th.

Circular mirror transformation from Annie Baker directed by Cody Estle. From the Next Act Theatre website:

Breathe in. Breathe out. Start over again. Four lost New Englanders sign up for Marty's theater class at the community center to experiment with acting and try to make sense of their lives. Over the course of six weeks, hearts are quietly torn apart and small wars of epic proportions are fought and won. Annie Baker's beautifully crafted diorama of a comedy shows us the hilarious sadness of a motley quintet with great detail and clarity.

This show runs from April 23rd to May 18th.
