Spartanburg man on house arrest charged with drug trafficking, lawmakers say

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) – A Spartanburg man under house arrest has been charged with drug trafficking by the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials report that on August 22, the Spartanburg County Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at the Greenlea Street residence of 41-year-old Lamar Graves.

Graves is under house arrest for aggravated domestic violence, first-degree burglary and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, deputies say.

Officials report that a search of Graves' apartment revealed 92 grams of cocaine, 147 grams of fentanyl and a pill press.

The charges against Graves now include:

  • Cocaine trafficking 28 grams – 100 grams
  • Trafficking in fentanyl 28 grams or more
  • Possession with intent to distribute within ½ mile of a school or park (cocaine)
  • Possession with intent to distribute within ½ mile of a school or park (fentanyl)
  • Possession of ammunition by convicted felons
  • Violent crimes committed by persons released on bail for a violent crime

Graves remains incarcerated.
