Man arrested with five warrants in South Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colorado (KKTV) – On Monday around 3:30 p.m., the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office responded to a trespassing call in a residential area in South Pueblo.

When officers arrived, they said they found a car covered with a tarp near Brian Avenue on a resident's property. Police learned the man had exited the car and was pacing around the area.

The sheriff's office said they found the suspect, 29-year-old Bret Seeley, in a field. When officers approached Seeley, they ordered him to get on the ground and show his hands, but he refused.

They said Seeley ran across the field. An officer told the suspect he would release his K9 Zeus if he didn't obey. Although Seeley stopped running, he continued to refuse commands.

The sheriff's office said the deputy tasered the man and arrested him.

Seeley was arrested on five outstanding warrants. He was booked into the Pueblo County Jail on $70,000 bail.
