Second person arrested for 2023 murder in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A second person was arrested Tuesday in connection with the death of a man who was found with a gunshot wound as Montgomery County police investigated a November 2023 car crash.

Orlando Alexander Satz Jr., 20, died on Nov. 28, 2023, after he crashed his car into a parked vehicle on Spruell Drive, police said. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found Satz Jr. suffering from gunshot wounds.

On Thursday, June 20, 2024, Jose Ramon Ventura was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact and driving by two people allegedly involved in Satz's death, according to authorities.

On Tuesday, Aug. 27, 22-year-old De'Shaun McCrimmon was arrested in Silver Spring and charged with murder, authorities said. He is being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he awaits a bail hearing.
