9th District: Conclusion thwarts Mexican man’s fight for deportation

By Rae Ann Varona (August 27, 2024, 7:23 p.m. EDT) — The Ninth Circuit has declined to reinstate a Mexican-born man's challenge to a deportation order, saying in a published opinion that a federal court in Arizona was entitled to draw the unfavorable conclusion that his mother could not confer U.S. citizenship on him.
