Wisconsin sees falling pump prices

(Dodge County) Gasoline prices in Wisconsin are at summer lows just before Labor Day weekend. The drop in gasoline prices comes as global oil prices have fallen over the past month.

Triple AAA's gas price tracker showed an average price of just under $3.23 per gallon in Wisconsin on Tuesday, compared to the national average of $3.35 per gallon.

Prices varied considerably across the state. In some areas of the Chippewa Valley, a gallon cost just over $3, but in Ozaukee County, the price averaged nearly $3.60.

The price of a gallon of gasoline in Dodge County was also the national average at $3.22.

Our neighbors to the north are doing a little better: Here, a gallon at the pump costs an average of $3.16.

Gasoline costs $3.23 in Columbia County.

In Jefferson County it is $3.32 and in Washington County it is $3.36.
