Dayton woman arrested on suspicion of stealing more than $2,000 worth of clothing – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

BUTLER COUNTY – A Dayton woman accused of stealing more than $2,000 worth of clothing has been arrested.

Tiara Lashae Roberts, 35, was arrested and booked into the Butler County Jail in connection with a theft that occurred last week at Dick's Sporting Goods in the Liberty Center, according to Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones.

As News Center 7 previously reportedOfficers were searching for two women accused of stealing $2,300 worth of clothing on August 21, including Nike items from Dick's Sporting Goods.

The suspects were caught on video leaving the area.

“This is an ongoing problem at Liberty Center and we will continue to pursue every shoplifter we can,” said Sheriff Jones.

The investigation is ongoing to identify additional suspects.
