Diego Pacheco vs. Maciej Sulecki undercard: Full list of fights ahead of 2024 boxing main event

Young Diego Pacheco is ready to continue his progress and take part in his second consecutive headlining fight on August 31 in Carson, California. He will face Maciej Sulecki. The fight will be broadcast worldwide on DAZN.

Pacheco (21-0) has won several medals at youth tournaments. The 23-year-old hopes to finish 2-0 in 2024 after a hard-fought win over previously unbeaten Shawn McCalman in April.

Sulecki (32-2) has won four fights in a row since losing the WBO middleweight title to Demetrius Andrade in 2019. Although he also lost to Daniel Jacobs, the Polish fighter has recorded victories over Gabe Rosado and Jack Culcay.

Pacheco is one of the highest-ranked fighters in the WBO super middleweight rankings and believes he will pose a tough challenge to the experienced Sulecki.

“I'm a special fighter. With all due respect to Jacobs and Andrade, I think stylistically I'm more of a power puncher, I'm a better counter puncher, I've got everything,” Pacheco said. “I can work inside and go to the body, I can outbox my opponents to frustrate them and get them to open up. It's just a matter of how the fight goes. I'm prepared for whatever he brings and I think I'll get the knockout.”

The opening act will be a stunning artist and an up-and-coming European star.

As Commonwealth Games captain, the Nigerian star returned in February from a 22-month layoff to stop previously unbeaten Lucas Pontes de Silva. He is 2-2 in his last four matches.
