Viral videos refute false claims that these films contain “no CGI”

We've previously reported on the growing trend of directors and producers claiming that their films don't feature CGI – almost as if one of the most important visual effects disciplines in filmmaking has become a dirty word. We've also pointed out that these claims are often not entirely true, or at least not as categorical as they're portrayed in the media.

Now a visual effects artist has debunked the “no CGI” myth and gone viral. His videos show how much CGI was actually used in films that supposedly didn't have any, from Top Gun: Maverick to Napoleon.
