AI video shows noodle figures during Kathak training and conquers hearts online

Last month, a spaghetti “dance” video took the internet by storm. The generative art AI video showed noodle strands mimicking the movements of two human dancers. The comments section was filled with praise and admiration (read the full story here). Recently, an AI video showing noodle-clad figures performing Kathak went viral on Instagram. In this video, the figures are depicted as human forms. But parts of their bodies and clothing are depicted as flowing, glittery noodle strands.

The post was shared by musical duo Maati Baani, who also composed the original track that can be heard in the clip. The video's concept is by Kartik Shah. The caption reads, “The noodles are back! This time we are doing Kathak. I must say, our kitchen has gotten very creative!” Watch the full video below:

In the comments, many users were impressed by the concept. Others joked that they now saw pasta on their plate in a completely different way. Some were reminded of long pasta shapes instead of pasta. Here are some of the reactions from Instagram:
