Police in Central Berks seek person in connection with burglary

Central Berks Regional Police are asking the public for help in identifying this person involved in a burglary at Jake's Laundry in Lower Alsace Township. (Courtesy of Crime Alert Berks County)

Crime Alert Berks County, a citizen crime-fighting initiative, is offering cash rewards of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information leading to an arrest in this or any other case or crime.

Anyone with information about crimes can call 877-373-9913 at any time or contact Crime Alert through the website www.alertberks.org or the AlertBerks smartphone app. No one will ask for the caller's name; they will be assigned a code number.

Unsolved cases are a regular topic in the Sunday newspaper Eagle reading.
