Police investigate ‘suspicious death’ of man in north St. Louis

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said officers were called to the 4900 block of Thrush Avenue for a report of a suspicious death.

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis police are investigating a suspicious death in north St. Louis.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 4900 block of Thrush Avenue for a report of a suspicious death. When they arrived, they found a man dead.

No further information about the man's death was provided.

The agency's homicide squad is conducting the ongoing investigation.

The Bullet Related Injury Clinic (BRIC) is a community-based clinic in St. Louis that helps people recover from a gunshot injury. The BRIC was created to help people being discharged from the emergency room after a gunshot injury.
