A US Open Fan goes viral on Wednesday after being brutally friendzoned on live TV. To make matters worse, the tennis fan was left with a hefty bar bill after the rejection

His dignity was gone!

During a break in tennis, cameras panned from the court to the crowd and caught a man returning to his seat with two drinks in his hand.

One was for him, while the other was apparently for a female companion who was sitting next to him in the stands. Details of their relationship are unknown, but she made it very clear that she was not expecting any favors from her friend!

Just as the man sat down to hand her the extra drink, she turned to another fan sitting in the row above her. The result is pure cinema.

The woman accepts a drink from the fan behind her, ignoring the gallant gentleman sitting directly to her right.

As you see the man's face darken, reality dawns on you.

US Open fan is left with a large bar bill after brutal rejection.

The drinks he has with him are Honey Deuce cocktails, a classic at the US Open. They cost almost $25 each.

From Grey Goose:

The iconic Honey Deuce™ is the signature cocktail of the US Open. Enjoy it in the stands as you toast excellence in tennis. You can purchase a Honey Deuce™ at the 2024 US Open for $23 and keep the commemorative collectible cup while supplies last.

According to the website, the vodka drink is “a refreshing twist on raspberry lemonade.” “The garnish of honeydew melon balls perfectly imitates tennis balls and makes you feel like you're sitting in the bleachers.”

That $23 price is an increase from last year's $22 and is nearly $10 more than the price at the 2012 US Open. For this fan, that meant a $50 bar visit wasted.

There was an immediate flood of reactions on social media.

“I don’t normally tolerate violence, but…”

“His villainy begins now.”

“*Record scratching* – 'You're probably wondering how I got into this situation.'”

“PAIN.”

Absolutely brutal to watch.
