Iowa police officer who shot a dog is accused of running over and killing another dog

The Iowa police officer who shot and killed a dog in front of its owners and young children killed another dog last month … when he ran over the dog with his police cruiser.

Bodycam footage from the aftermath of the July 13 incident shows the officer, identified by Our Quad City News as Ethan Bockhe went to a dead dog lying in an alley and admitted to running it over with his car.

Bock says, “Damn it,” and radios the incident, saying, “Hey, I'm 10-2. Some fucking guy just ran out here and I took him out.”

The owners of this dog were there when it happened – just like the dog shooting on August 21st – and they expressed their displeasure to the officer … and told him not to drive down the alley.

Bock offers two answers: “That’s why you gotta keep your dog on a leash, brother” … and “You gotta keep your dog on a leash, man.”

Later, a man asks Bock how the dead dog should be handled. Bock tells him he is sorry about the incident and says animal control will take care of it.

Another officer appears and asks if Bock has a problem with the dog owners. He replies: “No, they are angry. I accidentally smoked their dog.”

The family told Our Quad City News that they took the dog out to do his business.
