MCSO searches for suspect who allegedly stabbed a colleague during a fight

BEDFORD TOWNSHIP, Michigan (WTVG) – The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect who allegedly stabbed a co-worker during a fight Tuesday night.

According to MCSO, on August 27 at around 6:30 p.m., dispatch received a call from a business in the 7100 block of Crabb Road reporting that two men had been fighting and one had been stabbed.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 39-year-old man with a deep cut on his forearm. Witnesses at the scene stated that they suspected the man, also 39, of having fled before officers arrived.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to MCSO, during an investigation, officers learned that the two men, who were co-workers, got into a verbal argument that later escalated into physical violence. The suspect then allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.
