Looking for a job in California? These are the best employers

According to Federal Reserve economic data, more than 18 million people were employed in California last month. Unfortunately, not all of them can boast that their workplace is the best.

Forbes has released a new ranking of the best employers in all US states for 2024. The media company said it, in collaboration with Statista, surveyed over 160,000 employees who work in US states for companies with at least 500 employees.

To find the best workplaces, participants were asked whether they would recommend their employer and they rated other companies they would work for.

Responses and data from previous surveys helped create the list of the nation's 1,294 best employers, which can be filtered by state – helpful for anyone wanting to know where to send their next job application.
