PCB man arrested for drug offenses related to fentanyl and meth

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – A local man was arrested on drug charges related to fentanyl and meth after being stopped for driving without a license, according to the Bay County Sheriff's Office.

On August 26, 46-year-old Nathan Combs was driving a vehicle without a license and license plates. Combs was stopped after investigators spotted him on Front Beach Road and then on Joan Ave.

According to BCSO, BCSO Criminal Investigation Division arrested him just last month for driving without a license, grand theft and possession of methamphetamine with intent to resell.

When investigators made a traffic stop, Combs was observed throwing narcotics from the vehicle, according to BCSO. He was taken into custody for driving with a suspended license and an unassigned license plate, but after Combs was searched, investigators found drugs on him and in his vehicle.

A search of Combs revealed a bag of methamphetamine. A larger bag of methamphetamine was found on the driver's floor.

Additionally, a large bag containing various narcotics was found, including several bags of methamphetamine packaged for sale, several bags of fentanyl packaged for sale, marijuana, and several pills that BCSO believes are believed to be pressed fentanyl pills. Over 60 grams of methamphetamine was seized from Combs.

According to BCSO, the pills were sent to the FDLE lab for further testing.

Combs was booked into jail for trafficking more than 28 grams of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl with intent to resell, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license suspended and no license plate attached, according to the BCSO.
