Man officially charged with stabbing mother of his children to death – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

PREBLE COUNTY – A man has been charged after a woman was seriously injured in a stabbing.

According to the Preble County Sheriff's Office, 45-year-old David Daniels was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and domestic violence, among other offenses.

As News Center 7 previously reported, the Preble County Sheriff's Office and Gratis Police were called to Parrish Drive Monday morning for a report of a “domestic incident,” according to Preble County Sheriff Mike Simpson.

When police arrived on the scene, they noticed a woman in the driveway who had been stabbed.

LATEST STORIES:

The woman was flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in serious condition.

According to the sheriff's office, Daniels and the woman have lived together for several years and have children together.

He has already been convicted seven times for domestic violence.

Daniel's bail was set at $500,000.
