Police are looking for information about the second alleged murder attempt

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu Police and CrimeStoppers have released a photo of a second suspect wanted in connection with the attempted murder investigation.

Authorities said the charges stem from an Aug. 9 shooting in which a teenager was injured when a bullet went through a bus window near North School Street.

The first suspect, Jonathan Ten, was arrested and brought to court. He remains in custody and cannot be released on bail.

Sergeant Chris Kim of CrimeStoppers Honolulu said several surveillance images were used to identify this second suspect.

Information from the public can be crucial to the authorities in catching wanted persons.

Case 1:

On Monday, July 22, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a male suspect entered a store in Aiea, selected merchandise, and left the store without paying. Anti-theft officers approached the male suspect outside the store, at which point he surrendered the merchandise he attempted to steal.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT – Unidentified male, 40’s, 6’2” to 6’2” tall, stocky build, brown skin, bald, wearing a necklace, white t-shirt, black pants, and a blue and black backpack.

Case 2:

On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at approximately 4:17 p.m., three male suspects and an unknown female suspect entered an unlocked vehicle parked on Kaahumanu Street and used the garage door opener in the vehicle to open the garage door. The suspects then stole numerous items from the garage and fled in an unknown direction.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT #1 – Unidentified female, medium build, short black hair, light complexion, wearing a light t-shirt, tan shorts, and a light face mask.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT #2 – Unidentified male, medium build, light skin, wearing a hat and black jacket.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT #3 – Unidentified male, slim build, wearing a camouflage jacket with hood and light shorts.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT #4 – Unidentified male, medium build, wearing hat, headlamp, jacket, long pants and face covering.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT VEHICLE – white four-door

Case 3:

On Monday, July 29, 2024, at approximately 3:10 p.m., a male suspect attempted to record the plaintiff in a public restroom at the Outrigger Reef Hotel. The plaintiff confronted the suspect and only saw images of restroom stalls on the suspect's phone. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival and was not identified.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT – Unidentified adult African American male, possibly named “Sid”, 30’s, 6’2”, 220 lbs, heavy build, black braided hair, black goatee, brown eyes, a tattoo of a microphone and music notes on his shoulder, wearing sunglasses, silver colored necklace with a “D” pendant, black sleeveless tank top, and black mid-length shorts.
