2 men arrested in connection with shooting of 12-year-old girl – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

DAYTON – Two men have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a 12-year-old girl in Dayton while she was sleeping.

Antawan Benson Jr. and Javen Conner were arrested in connection with the death of Isabella Amor-Carlos, who died Friday when her home on W. Fairview Avenue was struck by gunfire, according to a Dayton police source.

Conner is booked into the Montgomery County Jail for murder.

Benson is charged with a weapons offense.

Both were arrested Wednesday by Dayton police at a home in the 5000 block of Derby Road in Jefferson Township, online jail records show.

We are trying to find out what led the police to track down the two men and when they have to appear in court.
