Better Together partners with The Light WPB to host a job fair for the community.

The church job fair connects job seekers with local employers looking to hire. Job seekers can have their resume reviewed and learn interview skills through free one-on-one job coaching sessions.

The job fair is part of Better Together's Better Jobs program, which has helped 45,000 applicants in 24 states find job opportunities. At job fairs hosted by Better Together, two-thirds of attendees were invited for an interview and one in four received an immediate job offer.

Better Together is a nonprofit organization that helps parents going through difficult times, keep their children out of foster care, find jobs, and address the root causes of their difficulties so they can come back together as a family and have the tools and support system to succeed. Better Together is a privately funded and professionally supported organization comprised of volunteers who believe that helping children help themselves is the best way to restore dignity and bring families together.

The West Palm Beach job fair will be held on September 14th from noon to 3 p.m. at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2740 Parker Ave. Employer Registration
