Many come to the job fair at the Kentucky Career Center

BOWLING GREEN, Kentucky – Hundreds of people came to the Kentucky Career Center Wednesday in hopes of finding employment.

At the Kentucky Career Center, they partnered with the South Central Workforce Development Board to host one of the largest outreach events of the year. An open house in downtown Bowling Green attracted hundreds of new Americans, veterans and many others hoping to find a good job.

News 40 spoke with Bionca Wilson, who works for the board. She said they try to hold the Warren County job fair twice a year and it's a wonderful sight to see so many people come.

Wilson said even if you're not there today, there are always opportunities to find work. The company representative told us there's a chance to find employment every month. Wilson asks the community to keep an eye on both the career center and the board's social media accounts.
