Inmate faces new drug charges | News

MURRAY — An inmate at the Calloway County Jail faces additional charges after the Calloway County Sheriff's Office said he allegedly attempted to hide drugs when he was arrested in March.

According to CCSO, an arrest warrant was served for David P. Brown, 51, formerly of Hardin, while the suspect was already incarcerated in the jail. The warrant stated that on March 15, 2024, an officer conducted a traffic stop on Radio Road and Brown was found to be in possession of illegal drugs. When officers arrested him, he allegedly backed away and attempted to conceal evidence in his mouth, according to CCSO.
