“When I arrived, the teacher and students were outside the classroom. One student was holding his head after being attacked by the student remaining in the classroom,” Rodgers told FOX 4 News.

“I entered the room where the student was still angry and found it full of overturned furniture. I knew I had to remain as calm as possible and spoke quietly and slowly so as not to upset him further,” she added. While trying to calm the angry student, he threw chairs at her, followed by the coat hanger.
