Ten years later, people realize that Zendaya starred in the Taylor Swift video

Fans are going crazy after learning that Zendaya once appeared in a Taylor Swift video and the star has previously spoken out about the experience.

It's a collaboration that no one expected, and the truth is that it actually happened almost a decade ago.

Zendaya, 27, began her career as a child model and reached unprecedented heights in film and television, including euphoria, challenger And Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Swift is one of the most famous pop stars in the world and is currently in the middle of her extensive “Eras” tour – together the two form an impressive duo.

One of Swift's most famous songs is “Bad Blood,” which, if you can believe it, was released back in 2014 and whose music video followed a year later.

The video made headlines online, featuring an ensemble of 17 famous faces, including Gigi Hadid, Kendrick Lamar and Selena Gomez.

However, fans were surprised to learn that Zendaya also appeared in the video – playing the role of a character named 'Cut-Throat'.

With her hair slicked back in a ponytail and black lipstick, the actress is hardly recognizable compared to today.

One person wrote on X: “Watching the Bad Blood music video and cheering for Zendaya and Hayley Williams like it's the Super Bowl.”

Another person said: “I watched the music video for Bad Blood for GCSE media BUT I was years old today when I realised Zendaya was in the video.”

A third added: “What do you mean Zendaya was in the music video for 'Bad Blood'??”

Zendaya has previously spoken out about her involvement in the star-studded video.

She told ET Online: “[Taylor is] simply a genius. She is so smart. People will be excited and obsessed with [the Bad Blood video]. I don't know how they could come up with anything else!”

“She is so open and wants everyone to have fun together.”

It has long been claimed that Swift wrote “Bad Blood”, a song about betrayal, about fellow singer Katy Perry after a dispute over background dancers.

In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2014, Swift confirmed that the song was about a woman in the music industry.

She said: “For years I wasn't sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows, say something and walk away, and I thought, 'Are we friends, or has she just given me the worst insult of my life?'”

Then at a performance on The Late Show with James Corden In 2017, Perry said of Swift: “Honestly, it's really like she started this and it's time for her to end it. It was a complete shutdown and then she writes a song about me and I'm like, 'Okay, cool, cool, cool, that's how you want to deal with it? Karma!'”

Zendaya was asked about the feud during her interview with ET and she simply said she had “no idea” about a feud and added: “For me, it was just a cool experience because [Swift] asked me to be there.”
